Hi, my name is Marcela. I’m a self-taught professional live wedding painter based in Ireland, creating paintings that capture a key moment in the newlyweds’ big day.
My work has been recognised with multiple awards within the wedding industry, reflecting the special experience I create for couples.
For me, painting happy, uplifting moments is not only refreshing but necessary. I want my work to be a space where viewers feel joy, hope, and the beauty of life’s meaningful moments.
While some call it “toxic positivity,” I see it as a conscious choice to bring more uplifting energy into the world, counteracting the negativity we are constantly surrounded by.
This optimistic perspective is what drew me to live wedding painting as I love capturing the energy, laughter, and emotion of couples’ most special days.
I engage with guests all day, answering questions and sharing my process while maintaining precision and momentum. I often let guests add marks on the canvas, making the painting even more special for the couple.
