Meet the artist
I was born in Moldova and raised in Ireland after my parents uprooted their life and moved countries in pursuit of a better future. It was challenging at first, having to get by in school not speaking English (not one word) and having to learn Irish on top of that too.
That’s when I discovered the fascinating thing about art - it is a universal language that allows us to connect with each other no matter where we are from or what language we speak. It was in that moment that I started my self-taught artistic journey.
Although I always had a passion for art, I also had a love for numbers and precision so I pursued a career in Actuarial Mathematics and am now a qualified professional in that field. Despite my actuarial background, I pour my creative energy into my art during my free time.
My love for travel and nature is easel-y the main source of inspiration for my paintings, portraying positive emotions and romance onto the canvas. I strive to create pieces that transport you to these romantic scenes and allow you to experience the magic for yourself. I have a fondness for painting in muted tones with a vibrant pop of colour, adding a unique twist to my pieces.
As an avid lover of puns, you'll also often find a cheeky joke hidden in the titles of my works, as I find humour 2B one of the most important aspects of life.
